  • Vegetable oil ………… 3 tablespoons

  • White pepper ………… To taste

How to make

  1. Tear the basil leaves. String and cut the kaffir lime leaves into thin strips. Cut the lemongrass diagonally.
  2. Lightly spread the vegetable oil over the slightly toasted banana leaves. Place 1/8 of the sambal,
    1/8 of 1, and the white fish on top.
  1. Place 1/8 of the sambal on top of 2 and then place 1/8 of 1 on top.
  1. Wrap 3 in the banana leaves and place them on the cooking plate.
  1. Put the washed rice and water in the inner pot and set it in the rice cooker.
  2. Insert 4 in the inner pot, select the “Synchro-Cooking” menu, and press the [Start] key.
  3. When cooking is complete, place the dish on a serving plate.

Sambal

  1. Chop A and place it into a mixer.
    Mix the ingredients in the mixer until the texture becomes pasty.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil and 1 in a frying pan, and sauté the ingredients until fragrant.
  3. Crush the tomato.
  4. Add sugar and 3 and sauté the ingredients.
  5. Add salt and white pepper to taste.

Tip

Sambal is an Indonesian seasoning. Commercially available sambal may be used. For making sambal, brown sugar or Gula Malaka (palm sugar) is recommended. Aluminum foil can be used in place of banana leaves.
